East Side Gallery

Students in Year 6 are doing their project about the 1st and the 2nd world wars. 

One of the consequences of the 2nd world war was the construction of the Berlin Wall. 

Nowadays, there are still 150 km standing. This part of the Berlin Wall is called the East Side Gallery. 

In art, we are doing our own East Side Gallery based on the real drawings.

Skype meeting with Turkish students

This academic year, in our school we are taking part in two eTwinning projects. 

Year 5 and Year 6 students are doing some skype meetings with a school in Turkey and soon they will connect with a school in Greece. 

It is a real context to speak and practise English.

Learning English through songs

Learning English through songs is a very effective way to learn a new language. 

Music is an easy habit. You can take the music with you wherever you go. You can have English songs playing in the car, the kitchen and the shower.
