Corners in Year 5

Students in Year 5 are taking part in the Project Sharing to Learn. 

We have 4 Language Assistants coming to our school and they help us with the English corners.

Students in Year 5 have been doing corners on Tuesdays and Fridays. 

We have got a VIDEO CORNER, where they have to order a dialogue, personalize the dialogue and record it.

Welcome to our Language Assistants. Year 5

Our school is taking part in the Sharing to Learn Project. 

Students in Year 5 will be having 2 Language Assistants from "Institut Bruguers" during all the academic year. 

During these sessions we will be doing corners to work on the different linguistic skills. 

We wanted to give them a warm welcome!

Sgraffito tecnique Year 5

During the art lessons students in Year 5 have been designing a solidarity poster by using the sgraffito technique.

Welcome to the LAs

Today Pablo and Marta (our language assistants in Year 5 B) have visited us. From today until May they will be with us during the Art sessions. 

In the first video we have created a message to welcome them. 

Later on, they have taken part in a tour through the Jacme March school. Students have been the guides. 

Finally, they have introduce themselves and we have been asking some questions to them! 

Students are looking forward to seeing you next week! 

Goodbye LAs

Wednesday was the last day for Lucía and Núria as Language Assistants in our school. And Friday 19th of May was the last day for Marta and Laura too. Students in Year 6 wanted to show them how thankful they are.

East Side Gallery

Students in Year 6 are doing their project about the 1st and the 2nd world wars. 

One of the consequences of the 2nd world war was the construction of the Berlin Wall. 

Nowadays, there are still 150 km standing. This part of the Berlin Wall is called the East Side Gallery. 

In art, we are doing our own East Side Gallery based on the real drawings.

LA's Welcome

On Wednesday 5th and Friday 7th the Language Assistants from IES Bruguers came to Jacme March for the first time. 

They will stay with us during the Art classes.
